Yale, MIT, and some other EDU’s get hacked
So I was searching one of my client’s backlinks, and I noticed that they had some ‘text’ on Yale’s website.
I was surprised to find this because it’s a florida mortgage website which has nothing to do with Yale.
I clicked on the link, and it redirected me to another page.
I realized that someone had to hack into Yale’s website, and upload some pages to do this.
I googled the title of the listing, and saw that many edu’s have been hacked by the same website(s).
“Refinance Mortgage Open Chapter 13 site:yale.edu” (put that in the google search)

Yale Hacked
With MIT just search Refinance Mortgage Open Chapter 13 site:mit.edu
If you click on these pages they will take you to
easy-loan-calc.com or e-loan-expert.com
According to Compete.com the e-loan-calc website is getting 44,959 U.S. visitors per month, and e-loan-expert is getting 42,647 U.S. visitors per month!!!!
Gee I wonder how much money this guy is making?
I’m not stranger to a site being hacked. I had one of my Mortgage Wordpress blogs hacked, and over 5000 pages of viagra were uploaded.
Still waiting on Matt Cutts to give me back my rankings….

So this is how the sites selling .edu text links are making out the links? I see they sell for more than $500.
these websites got hacked….they’re not selling links
I think he’s saying that the guys who are selling .edu links are getting them this way.
Some might actually be doing that, who knows.
Yet another example of “I can’t beat him with skills, so let’s go crying to matt”. Wonderful, you just admitted defeat and lack of any skills.
nuc – did you take your medication before posting?
I do well in whitehat….i broadcasted this blog on Feb 10, and I got it on page 4 for the keyword ‘SEO’ in about 47 days. No blackhat, no paid links, no reciprocal linking, and no 3way linking. ALL WHITEHAT!
I do see blackhat as a set of skills, but I do want my pages/websites to stick around for a least a little while.
